This is LinkedIn Live Studio, your hub for going live on LinkedIn. Here's a quick look at the key areas you'll use before and during your broadcast.
From the left-hand panel, choose whether to go live now or schedule your stream for later.
Next, create an organic post to promote your Live event.
Then, add a descriptive title for your broadcast.
Once these steps are complete, you'll be able to go live, either immediately or at your scheduled time.
If you are going live to a previously scheduled event, you will find it under "Manage streams."
The stream key for an event can be found by clicking “Prepare to go live,” which becomes clickable one hour before the event’s scheduled start time, or two hours before for verified pages.
Now, let's look at “Stream settings.” This is where you set up your broadcast connection.
Choose your broadcast region, and then select “Get URL” to generate your stream details.
Copy the Stream URL and Stream Key and paste both into your broadcast software to connect your stream to this event.
Once you start streaming from your software, you'll see a live preview appear on top.
This preview shows exactly what your audience will see, so you can check video quality, framing, and audio before going live.
When everything looks good, select “Go Live” to start your broadcast.
Next is “Stream health.” Before and during your broadcast, keep an eye on this indicator.
Green means your connection is stable.
Yellow or red signals potential issues that may need attention.
While you're live, the Analytics dashboard shows real-time viewer count, reactions, comments, and stream duration, so you can track engagement as it happens.
And that's a step-by-step tour of Live Studio, your one-stop hub for going live on LinkedIn.
