About this video

Video transcript

Once you define your conversions, the next step is to connect them to the right campaigns. This is where we tell LinkedIn which campaigns should be credited when those conversions happen.

So let's break this down a little bit. One is campaign relevance. Make sure the campaigns you associate are aligned with the conversion category you selected in step one. For example, if you're tracking qualified leads link campaigns that are optimized for lead generation, not just website visits.

Then there’s campaign status. Only active campaigns can generate conversions. If a campaign is paused, completed or still in draft, it won’t serve ads and therefore won’t drive or track conversions. This is a common oversight that can lead to missing data.
